Wow. Freaky. But it's still very interesting to see the parts float away then fit back into place is very intriguing (hope I used that word right ) to watch. Can't imagine that this was easy to animate.

ZeTrystan responds:

It was simple, but... long to animate. A lot of little pieces to fit, ahah

This is really cool and an interesting character design, gonna have to check out this dizz guy's original art of him and see what's up with that dude-er.

Oh and excellent job by the way.

ZeTrystan responds:

Yeah, you should go check it out! :)

This is really cute! I love the motion you put into this art and the previous one (not to say you have trouble with motion in other art, it's just that when creating dance art motion is very important in my opinion.) and I love how you still get that sense of OLD timey cartoon for an OLD oc (that's kinda clever actually) I'm looking forward to more art from you!

Oh WOW, this is really amazing, with the perspective AND the colors, the colors remind me of like some candy and fruit. Keep up the great work my dude.

BONESofBURIED responds:

Very interesting. I think that's a cool description of summer

Ooo now THIS is cool, I like it, very cute, guess that's why you tagged it with "cutie" though. Where do you go to for anatomy reference/practice, I've already asked a couple of other artists the same question, but they've sent different links to different anatomy practice website.

ohgodI'mrambling. Also, how do you color, and decide on character design.

Lastbitoframbling. Anywho, MFW you replied to my suggestion and you said it wasn't a bad idea

Anyways, amazing art!

SyllArtemis responds:

Oh boy lets see. I haven't used a reference for this, I kinda just.. drew a potato and sticks and started shaping it from there. I look at models online or "drawing poses" when I can't think of a pose or get an angle right. As for color.. uhhh.. I can't help you there :' ) for I don't know myself. Don't use desaturated colors I guess. Or you can just look up a color palette online and mess with those colors. And character designs come from just watching stuff or listening to music and letting your mind roam. Sorry I'm not much help!

Thanks! <3

Maybe the scent of lavender's growing on me.

ZeTrystan responds:

Oh, really? ;)

I never did enjoy the smell of lavender.

ZeTrystan responds:

Oh, really? I love it though. o:

This is really cute! Not really sure why she's surprised though.

Mojabrantes responds:

Because she is sitting on bubbles ! :D
Who would not be ? :3

This is REALLY good, but something that stands out to me is that the arms seem a little short. And the legs, her left leg looks good at the thigh but her right thigh looks a little large. And I hate to be rude but with how skinny the legs get after the thigh it sorta makes the legs look like chicken legs (tbh).

How do you draw clothing so well? It's honestly amazing and also, where do you refer to for anatomy and such? And how do you draw backgrounds like that?

I am a developing artist that hopes to one day become an animator of great skill
