All of your art is just so amazing! Wish I could even begin to draw girl and other things half as good as you. If you don't mind me asking what program do you use? How'd you learn? Where do you get inspiration from? refer to for anatomy? Again your art is so amazing. But hey, I get it if you don't want to give away your secrets.

BONESofBURIED responds:

First of all thank you and holding back secrets is whack. Anyway, I use Photoshop Cs4 for my art, but there are cheaper and newer drawing options available. I studied at and graduated from CSUN, but learned most of my illustration and color skills after school on my own (Youtube color tutorials were a huge help). I pull inspiration from where ever. If I see a dope picture try and identify what I like about it, then save it in a reference folder. And I try slightly differently styles from time to time to keep me sharp.

Some of my favorite artists are: DeviantART artist Gao23, Ahmed Aldoori, Johannathemad, Godmachine, Grinddesign, Art Germ, Oscar Martin, And Chase Conolly. As for anatomy I actually memorized most of the superficial anatomy, which helps a great deal because understanding the function of a given muscle makes it easier for me to place it when drawing. In order to practice your anatomy drawing skills I would recommend doing timed sketches. If you can't access a live figure drawing class you can use a site like line-of-action(dot)com . In practice favor short full body gesture sketches over focused detailed drawings. Do this consistently for sessions than span a few hours and you'll start seeing improvements over the weeks. If you got anymore questions, just PM me

1/10 no actual blinking.

Just kidding 11/10 amazing art, but was he involved with something including the blue one?

ZeTrystan responds:

They are both brothers!
(haha, and yeah. was a little bit more lazy with this one, so no blink!)

WOW you make so much amazing art. Like holy crap I wish I was half as good as you, How'd you learn to draw as well as you do now? what program do you use? Do you use references or inspiration from other artists? Sorry if this is a little nosey but your art is just so good!

G3no responds:

first, thank you for liking my stuff. the how to get good is hard to answer, getting too technical i'd write paragraphs about it. like any skill you just have to put time into it, not days but years. it's intimidating to think about it, but everyone gets there with time. studying reference will keep you from going astray. drawing almost every day is key. most of my inspirations are from the west, i have just a bit from anime. this was done on plain photoshop cs5

Wow, weird but entrancing. what gave you the idea for this guy? And more importantly... what did he just get finished doing...? Awesome art!

ZeTrystan responds:

What gave me the idea? :'D BEING BORED AS HELL. hahaha
And I guess it was murder? Mmmh. Bad eye, bad eye.

Wow! wish I could draw this well. (But I'll get there eventually! >=) ) Amazing work, on all 3 of them! I'm looking forward to seeing any other work you'll submit in the future!

SyllArtemis responds:

You will! >:0 you got this homie!
And hey thanks very much! <3

HOO! Another amazing submission for Jazza's Cotm best of luck!

This is very cute (as implied by the tag you gave it) I'll definitely need to check out RummyNG's profile and see what they have to offer. But I've looked through your art you've uploaded so far and I'm glad to say that I'm you're 100th follower! I'm looking forward to seeing more of your art in the future!

Wow, this is a pretty neat character design, love the detail with the Egyptian writings on its many arms.
What was the thought process in creating this guy? seems like he'd be some sort of mini-boss.

ZeTrystan responds:

It's actually a real egyptian god! It's supposed to be a simple sun disk with ray-arms, but I added my little grain of salt. ;)

Amazing art! Love everything about it! However isn't Padparadscha supposed to have smoother and a lighter pink hairstyle? Amazing art none-the-less and if anything it makes Padparadscha look a little better and suits her better. (Seeing how her slow reaction time might cause her to be caught up with something that messes up her hair)

gatekid3 responds:

I took a few creative liberties, Her dress doesn't have the frilly collar, or a sash at the waist. i made her hair slightly messier just because its cute to me (My favorite storyboard artist on the show always draws lapis with messier hair).
Also, we have no fully accurate color scheme for her, as "Off colors" and "Lars' Head" are in a dark cave, so all of the colors are off colored(pun intended)

I love this! It definitely deserves the cute tag you gave it and I love the expression chosen for this piece. Not much else can be said about this piece seeing as it's only a portrait/mid-shot picture but none-the-less this is still simply amazing artwork!
That being said, could I ask you to take the time out of your day to look at my art? Tell me what I'm doing right, what I'm doing wrong, and just overall critic me? I would really appreciate it because I want to be able to draw on the same level as amazing artists such as yourself.

Thank you for reading this!

I am a developing artist that hopes to one day become an animator of great skill
